What Cannot Be Hung Not everything is meant to be displayed;
some things are created to remain as witnesses. This work inhabits the space between appearance and containment.
The canvas does not settle; it remains in a state of suspension.
The front is quiet and restrained—a surface fit for display.
The back reveals the structure: wood, tension, and traces of pressure, where the surface becomes a body. By reversing the function of the painting, the support is no longer hidden but confronted,
and what lies behind becomes the center of gravity. Transparent ropes keep the work without a wall, without support,
in a fragile state between presence and disappearance. Meaning is not given directly;
it forms through movement around the work.
What is seen is not the truth,
but what allows the truth to remain suspended. ما لا يُعلَّق ليست كل الأشياء معدّة للعرض؛
بعضها خُلق ليبقى شاهدًا يقيم هذا العمل في المسافة بين الظهور والاحتجاز.
القماش لا يستقر، بل يُعلَّق في حالة انتظار دائم.
الوجه الأمامي هادئ ومخفف، صورة صالحة للعرض.
أما الخلف فيكشف البنية: خشب، شدّ، وآثار ضغط—حيث يتحول السطح إلى جسد. بقلب وظيفة اللوحة، لا تُخفى الدعامة بل تُواجَه،
ويغدو ما هو خلفيّ مركز الثقل الحبال الشفافة تُبقي العمل بلا جدار، بلا سند،
في وضع هشّ بين الحضور والاختفاء المعنى لا يُمنَح مباشرة؛
إنه يتشكّل أثناء الحركة حول العمل.
