Sometimes the world shouts at you to take life in a different direction even if it means you are supposed to have a cropping panic attack so intense. This exactly where I found myself at my lowest point hiding out of sight after becoming so overwhelmed by the negativity that had taken over. I am a Saudi contemporary artist, graphic designer, and creative educator, who focuses documenting life using paint and paint brush. Art can have such a tremendous effect on our emotional well-being and I am really passionate about how art can uplift and inspire me. I started at an early age, as a child I couldn’t express myself using words and actions, so drawing was my form of communication. Translating my thoughts and feelings through my drawings. As I went on with the process of drawing it made me more calm, knowing that I can express whatever I want through my paintings. As years went by I developed my unique voice by creating things that helped me overcome many obstacles in my early years. As an adult, I am happily creating art pieces thats speaks to me, I used my paintings to tell a story in a way to highlight the power of creative expression and a transformation tool for healing. Since my first solo exhibition in 2014, my work has been recognized, the ability to touch a nerve and make art resonate with emotions, letting the viewers see some of themselves in my art. The first three solo exhibitions was held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from 2014 to 2017. Under one title “ beginnings” a story about a shy girl who found her inner strength. The fourth solo exhibition was held in Kuwait in 2018 “ between them” a short story about art and music. Creativity is at core of who I am, how o express, translate, and share it and learn from others is the essence of being unique.
