Al Saeed reminds us that life springs forth from even from something as harsh as death. from places and instances unexpected. With the new realities faced by the world today the artist recognizes the need to rekindle positive affirmation in our lives, to seek better days, and nope, that this too shall pass.

Zuhair Al Saeed belongs to the generation of modern Bahraini artists. He excels in his field by utilizing unfamiliar artistic techniques to create contemporary works of art. Born in 1980, Al Saeed is a member of Bahrain Art Society. His artwork spans a variety of mediums such as watercolor, acrylic and oil paintings and also includes photography and installations. He has participated in several group exhibitions both in the GCC and Arab World, as well as internationally in Europe and the United States. He held several exceptional individual exhibitions such as Be Positive, On The Road (1 &2) and Black Waves. He is the founder of ZAS Gallery & Studios. His artwork is collected by the Bahrain National Museum, Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Kuwait, as well as several private collections in the Middle East, Europe and US. In October 2015, Al Saeed received the Palme d'or at the Visual Arts Forum in Doha, Qatar. He is also the winner of the 2008 Zain Dream Innovation Initiative.
