In Murad, artist Maysa Suleiman summons the collective memory to dismantle the illusion of satisfaction bound to the moment of attainment. The work poses a visual-philosophical question: does the sensation of arrival truly align with the longing that preceded it? Through an abstract visual language poised between fullness and void, the artist employs contrasts of chromatic density and the extension of lines to expose the fragility of the instant when a dream shifts from a driving force into a tangible object—where the dissipation of euphoria is tested, and a contemplative space opens to reflect on the nature of desire and its ebb.
