Color of Life 47, 2012

My artwork takes a critical view of social and humanity. It's reproduces familiar visual signs, arranging them into new installation & paintings. The paintings tell different stories of Contradictions, Happiness and people's actions in life by mixed media by size 45*60 cm. In all of them, I used photographs of coffee cups, positive & negative words, Gesso and some sands to make different textures, Black & White acrylic colors. The base is natural coffee extract colors dries differently. So I experimented it with the same expression. I started with rectangular shape to indicate grave as the end of life, or train cars moves from a station to another. This moved me the most as tool in a story telling. This is when I started to focus on life's contradictions. While I used a Varity of materials and processes in some of them, they are linked through the subject matter. It's determines the materials and the forms of the work. Black & White, Silence & Speech , Drawing & Writing. A circle I was spinning around.... And my Zamakan in it differed. So all these scribble documenting time-space of the moment that I did not want to reveal its words. The great struggle between contradictions... the story of balance & harmony between and in everything. Positivity is a must to live a bright life for humanity. It's not destiny. It's our choices in life. With all these differences we can distinguish between right & wrong.
